The Trans-Canada Highway reopened around 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon after and MVI about one kilometre west of Revelstoke. Expect delays due to the traffic backlog.

An MVI has closed the Trans-Canada Highway at a location about one kilometre west of Revelstoke at about 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19.

#BCHwy1 – Reports of a closure just west of #Revelstoke due a vehicle incident. Assessment in progress, details to come. Expect heavy delays and congestion.
