Developer pulls out of Revelstoke Crossing project

It has been announced that developers Hall Pacific are not going ahead with a new version of the proposed Revelstoke Crossing shopping centre project.

It came close, but ultimately the potential developers of the proposed Revelstoke Crossing shopping centre, Hall Pacific, decided their time was better spent on other projects.

Mayor Mark Mckee ended speculation that the developers were coming back with a revised concept of the previous 11-store shopping centre, saying he had received an email from the company.

“I have talked off and on with Hall Pacific,” mayor McKee said.

“The project’s off. They have decided against filing an application for the highway mall.”

The update now leaves the space, owned by Big Bend Corporation, open for other developers to come and try their luck.

A representative of Hall Pacific wasn’t immediately available for comment.
