MONDAY, MARCH 16

SOUTHSIDE MARKET

Southside Market is asking the general population to do their grocery shopping after 9am and reserving the first hour they’re open for the elderly and immunocompromised.

TRANS CANADA FITNESS

The gym has closed, effective immediately.

COMMUNITY FUTURES REVELSTOKE

Community Futures is asking visitors not to come to their office if they’re feeling unwell.

DARUMA TATTOO

The shop is closing its doors completely for the next two weeks.

PARAMJIT’S KITCHEN

The restaurant is closing for a few days.

CROSSFIT REVELSTOKE

Crossfit Revelstoke will be closed for the rest of the month. Current passes will be put on hold.

THE MODERN BAKESHOP AND CAFE

The Modern is not accepting reusable mugs until further notice and is encouraging takeout.

The Revelstoke Arts Council is aligning with School District #19 and provincial policy and cancelling all upcoming shows at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre until further notice. Find the full statement and details here:

REVELSTOKE ARTS COUNCIL COVID-19 STATEMENT

SCHOOL DISTRICT 19

School District 19 sent a letter to parents and guardians today. Read it here.

REVELSTOKE LIBRARY

The Okanagan Regional Library system, which includes the Revelstoke branch, released a statement today, stating that they will remain open and are following the advice of the Public Health Agency of Canada, BC Ministry of Health and the Interior Health Authority. Read the statement here.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

Community Connections is temporarily suspending group programming, home visits, and community outings, meetings or activities in public spaces with large groups.

SELKIRK MEDICAL GROUP

Selkirk Medical Group has shared a number of measures they’re taking at the clinic.

OKANAGAN COLLEGE

The college is staying open for now, but will be moving to implement alternative modes of instruction and evaluation for the rest of the term.

CITY OF REVELSTOKE

The city is monitoring the situation closely and have emergency plans in place with Interior Health.

REVELSTOKE GRIZZLIES

The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League has decided to suspend ongoing playoff games indefinitely.

ROXY THEATRE

The Roxy is taking extra precautions, including cleaning with increased frequency.

BIRCH & LACE

Birch & Lace is asking clients to reschedule appointments if they’re not feeling well.

TRANS CANADA FITNESS

Trans Canada Fitness is implementing more diligent cleaning procedures and asking those who aren’t feeling well or who have travelled internationally recently to stay home.

RUMPUS BEER COMPANY

Rumpus maintains that their attention to cleanliness is unwavering and is encouraging those who are well to enjoy some socializing over beers.

THE ALCHEMY STUDIO REVELSTOKE

The Alchemy is throwing in some tasty precautions in addition to extra sanitizing.

KAWAKUBO

There might be a bit more of a wait for sushi as Kawakubo takes more care to sanitize seating areas.

MOUNTAIN COLAB

The CoLab is temporarily suspending the sale of new memberships and encouraging members to work from home.

REVELSTOKE CREDIT UNION

The credit union is taking a number of preventative steps, including encouraging personal space on the premises, suspending unnecessary travel for staff and suspending use of the RCU Community meeting room.

REVELSTOKE UNITED CHURCH

The United Church is suspending its Soup and a Smile event for the next two weeks.

SOINTULA MASSAGE & DAY SPA

Sointula is asking anyone who is unwell to reschedule their appointments.

SATURDAY

BALU YOGA & WELLNESS

Balu will be staying on top of cleaning procedures and offering free meditations as often as possible.

DARUMA TATTOO

The tattoo shop is asking you to leave your extra friends at home when coming in for a tattoo.

The Southside Market is asking shoppers to please be considerate of their staff among the emergency buying.

REVELSTOKE NORDIC SKI CLUB

The nordic ski club has closed its lodge and suspended rentals for the season, but will still be grooming trails.

PEAK AXE THROWING

Peak Axe Throwing is taking extra sanitation measures and offering customers 25% off when they bring in a donation for the local food bank.

OKANAGAN COLLEGE REVELSTOKE

The college is still going ahead with classes as scheduled and will advise students before classes if anything changes.

REVELSTOKE MOUNTAIN RESORT

RMR has cancelled all its live music events for the rest of the season.
