Cedar Shaker Cyclocross took over RMR this past weekend

A number of local cyclists took part in the race which featured a number of obstacles.

Cyclists took over Revelstoke Mountain Resort this weekend for the Cedar Shaker Cyclocross. The event was part of the BC Interior Cyclocross Series and included a number of local riders. You can see the results of the races here.

According to the BC Interior Cyclocross website, cyclocross is the second most popular road cycling discipline. Modern cyclocross racers complete numerous laps of a several-kilometre course featuring everything from pavement to trails to steep hills, staircases and barriers.
