Brief: Trans-Canada Highway closed east of Glacier National Park

DriveBC reports alternating traffic due to second vehicle incident between Big Eddy Road and Highway 23 North

The Trans-Canada Highway is currently closed due to a vehicle incident at the Redgrave Rest Area 14 kilometres east of the East Boundary of Glacier National Park. According to DriveBC a vehicle assessment is underway. No detour is available. The next update for this closure is at 1 p.m.

DriveBC is also reporting single lane alternating traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway between Big Eddy Rd and Highway 23 South for a vehicle recovery. The next update for this incident is at 12 p.m.
