The Revelstoke RCMP report they are experiencing a phone system crash that is affecting their ability to call in our out this Thursday, June 11.

The Revelstoke RCMP report they are experiencing a phone system crash that is affecting their ability to call in our out.

Revelstoke RCMP Staff-Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky said the problem started around noon hour on Thursday, June 11 and has continued for a couple of hours so far.

“The cause is unknown. The estimated time of repair is also unknown. It appears that this is isolated to specific RCMP detachments in the area,” he said.

Currently police can’t call our or receive calls.

Grabinsky urged anyone with urgent police issues to call 911 as police are still able to dispatch using their radio system.
