The Revelstoke Railway Museum is installing four electric vehicle chargers and hopes to open them by the end of 2021.

The new Electrify Canada charging station will be located in the parking lot across from the museum next to Farrell Road.

The fast charging stations will have the ability to charge at 150kW or 350kW.

“We look forward to offering the convenience of an EV charging station to Revelstokians and visitors,” said Roger Eddy, President of the Revelstoke Heritage Railway Society. “Revelstoke has always been an important transportation hub in the Columbia mountains. We are proud to step towards our electric future and enable EV adoption in our community, providing accessible, convenient, ultra-fast charging to current and future EV drivers.”
