Brief: Revelstoke Grizzlies drop first game to 100 Mile House Wranglers

The 100 Mile House Wranglers topped the Revelstoke Grizzlies 4-1 in the first game of the second-round KIJHL playoff series.

The Revelstoke Grizzlies are down 0-1 in their second-round KIJHL playoff series versus the 100 Mile House Wranglers after a 4-1 loss to the visitors at the Revelstoke Forum.

Clark Nelson netted the Grizzlies’ only goal midway through the first period.

The Wranglers’ Dawson Long tied it up with 5:14 left in the first, then came an unanswered Wranglers goal by Kolby Page in the second, and two goals by James Gordon in the third for the 4-1 win.

Game two of the series starts at 7 p.m. at the Revelstoke Forum on Wednesday, Mar. 7.

The series then heads to 100 Mile House on Mar. 9 and 10. The next home games are Mar. 12 and Mar. 14 at the Revelstoke Forum; both will be played only if necessary.
