Brief: Revelstoke Credit Union announces this year’s Community Giving program

This week, the board of directors of the Revelstoke Credit Union announced this year’s Community Giving Program, which is designed to help local non-profit and charitable organizations fund programs and projects. This year’s program will involve a total of $125,000 being invested into the local community.
The funds will be going back to the community in two program streams: Community Giving and Capital Projects. The amount for Community Giving has increased from $50,000 to $75,000 this year and Community Giving Capital Projects will be funded for $50,000.
After this year’s distribution of funds, the Revelstoke Credit Union will have returned more than $6.9 million to its members and the community since 2000 through Community Giving, member rewards, dividends and donations.
Applications for the funding are now being accepted on the credit union website.
