Brief: Hay Road ‘Stoked Living’ public hearing details set

City unveils details for public hearing to be held under COVID-19 restrictions for a proposed residential development on Hay Road.

The City of Revelstoke has unveiled details of a September 17 public hearing for the proposed Stoked Living residential development on Hay Road.

When the hearing date was set, city staff were still working through details of how to hold the public meeting under COVID-19 restrictions.

On Sept. 2, staff revealed their plans, which allows for public submissions to the hearing in writing in advance, submission by telephone, or scheduled in-person submissions due to COVID-19 rules that cap public gatherings at 50 people.

The public hearing will start at 8 a.m. and will be live streamed by the city.

Pre-registration is required for in-person submissions. For more details, see this City of Revelstoke webpage with more information on how to register or submit input.
