No residents, eight staff affected in Mt. Cartier Court COVID-19 outbreak.

The number affected by the COVID-19 outbreak at Revelstoke’s Mt. Cartier Court long-term care facility has increased by one, bringing the total to eight people as of Jan. 7, 2022.

All of those affected are staff and there have been no COVID-19 cases included in residents.

The outbreak was declared on Jan. 1, 2022 and was first reported to the public via a province-wide COVID-19 email update on Jan. 4.

There are 43 residents at the long-term care facility.
