Construction on a new roundabout near Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is beginning next week, according to a release from the resort.
The traffic feature is being built on the remodeled intersection of Nichol Road and Camozzi Road. From Aug. 9 to Nov. 30, a detour along Nichol Road will be in effect between Hay Road and Park Drive. The two-lane detour will provide access to local businesses, residences, and PO boxes.

“Once complete, this project will provide improved access to the resort and allow for future development,” says Revelstoke Mountain Resort executive director Kevin Manuel. This project is a collaborative effort between RMR, the City of Revelstoke, and Mackenzie Village.
Residents and visitors are reminded to respect all posted signage when visiting the resort and traveling through the affected area.
