Brief: Classic car stolen
1969 Chevrolet Camaro was part of Revelstoke’s annual classic car show the Mountain Paradise Show and Shine.
A North Okanagan man taking part in the Mountain Paradise Show and Shine over the weekend won an award for his classic car, but ended up leaving Revelstoke without his ride.
Andy Freeland’s 19967 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen from the parking lot of the Sandman Hotel on Laforme Blvd. According to media release issued by the Revelstoke RCMP the vehicle was taken by unknown culprits sometime between the late evening on Saturday, June 2 and early morning Sunday, June 3.
The vehicle is described as a blue and white Chevrolet Camaro 427 with Vehicle Identification Number 124679N648614.
Revelstoke RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to locate the classic car. Anyone with information can contact the Revelstoke RCMP at 250-837-5255 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
