Avalanche Canada is hosting an open house this Saturday, Oct. 27.
Visit the Avalanche Canada office and meet some of the forecasters who work hard through the winter writing daily avalanche forecasts.
Attendees will learn how weather plays a big part in the snowpack and about the tools they use to communicate conditions so you can shred safely. There will also be an opportunity to practice your transceiver skills — and the Taco Club truck will be on site too.
