The class will allow knowledge of ballet technique taught by a former professional principal ballet dancer for both The National Ballet of Canada and Ballet BC (AD/CEO Simone Orlando.) Do the exercises alongside professional dancers Desiree Bortolussi and Valentin Chou.

Opportunities leading on from the workshop include having the opportunity to apply for Ballet Kelowna’s Okanagan Summer Dance Intensive Program (two-week or three-week programs) that starts Monday July 25 and concludes on Friday August 12.

Under the leadership of Artistic Director and CEO Simone Orlando, Ballet Kelowna’s OSDI offers ballet students the opportunity to learn from professional dancers and distinguished teachers. Intermediate to advanced level students will enjoy extensive training in ballet, pointe, repertoire, modern, and contemporary.  More information about OSDI will be up on our website soon.
