Audio: MLA Norm Macdonald pans tax cuts for the rich, lack of Trans-Canada funding
Columbia River–Revelstoke MLA Norm Macdonald was in Revelstoke on Saturday, Feb. 28 to attend the Revelstoke Rod & Gun Club’s awards banquet.
The Revelstoke Mountaineer’s Aaron Orlando caught up with Macdonald before the event for an audio interview that focused mainly on the recent B.C. budget.
The SoundCloud interview is embedded below. Topics of the conversation include the recent B.C. provincial budget, a tax cut for British Columbians with the highest incomes, the amount funded in the B.C. budget for Trans-Canada Highway upgrades near Revelstoke, and land use issues as they relate to forestry in the Revelstoke area — including the Mount Macpherson trails.
