
The newly-minted Revelstoke Air, operated by transportation and tour operator Everything Revelstoke, has unveiled their dates, prices and aircraft for a new air service between Revelstoke Airport and Vancouver International Airport’s south terminal.
Operator Pacific Coastal Airlines will start the service on in January 26, 2017 and it will run until Mar. 19. Flights will depart for Revelstoke from Vancouver at 1 p.m. on Thursdays, and the return flight leaves Revelstoke at 3 p.m. on Sundays. Flight time is about an hour.
The aircraft will be a Beechcraft 1900, which will be able to accommodate 15 passengers. Maximum luggage allowance of 50lbs/23kgs, with no option to purchase excess luggage
The ticket price will be from $249 to $299 per direction, and prices include transfers to local hotels in Revelstoke.
The Salmon Arm and Kelowna airports will be used as backups if the airplane can’t land at Revelstoke due to weather issues such as low fog.
