Absolute Contracting selected as finalist for Georgie construction award

Revelstoke building company Absolute Contracting has been selected as a finalist for a prestigious Georgie Award® for its construction of the Lee Road Residence.

Presented by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia, the Georgie Awards® celebrate excellence in home building and renovation in the residential construction industry. In a statement, Absolute Contracting said this is the first time in the history of the awards a Revelstoke building company has been selected as a finalist.

The awards are open to all Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia member companies. Entries submitted for the 29^th annual Georgie Awards were built, renovated, developed, created and/or marketed between January 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020. Finalists were selected by a panel of out-of-province industry professionals.

“Built during this period, the Lee Road Residence, an Absolute Contracting build, was submitted for consideration and gained the attention of the awards panel. The 3,200 square foot, beautiful, two-storey home features an open great room, with 20-foot vaulted ceilings, custom designed Spanish influenced archways and other unique finishes throughout,” said a statement from Absolute Contracting.

Absolute Contracting has been  building homes in Revelstoke and the surrounding area since 2007 and “is proud to be recognized for their excellence in home building in the residential construction industry by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia.”

For the past 29 years, the Georgie Awards® have showcased the high quality and caliber of British Columbia’s home building and renovation community. The awards are provincial in scope and highlight the commitment and dedication to the building excellence and high standards that CHBA BC member companies strive to uphold.

The 29th Annual Georgie Awards ® Gala will be held virtually on March 20, 2021 in Vancouver.
