Revelstoke residents gathered for a June 8 vigil in Queen Victoria Park hosted by the Aboriginal Friendship Society of Revelstoke to honour and remember 215 children whose remains were discovered over a week ago at the Kamloops Indian Residential School.

About 125 people attended the afternoon memorial, and others were unfortunately turned away due to COVID-19 gathering size restrictions.
