Police say someone tried to make off with a 2008 Ford F350 sometime between 11 p.m. on July 22 and 3 a.m. on July 23. The thief or thieves were foiled by and anti-theft device on the truck.
In a media release, Staff-Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky said that owners of Ford F250 and F350 trucks made between 2005 and 2008 need to be extra vigilant because the trucks are “high value targets” for thieves. He encouraged the use of anti-theft devices for the vehicles.
Revelstoke RCMP encourage anyone with info on the attempted theft to contact police, or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 TIPS (8477).
