Live Mural Painting with Benji Lowclass Art at Free Spirit Sports, all day.
Local artist Benji Lowclass will be painting a mural today at Free Spirit Sports. This live art event will be happening all day long on both Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. The store will be offering a 15% discount on all Benji’s t-shirt designs.

Leila Neverland and Mountain Sound at The Regent Hotel (The Selkirk Room), 7:30 p.m.
The Jazz Club will be welcoming Leila Neverland and Mountain Music to the stage this Friday night. Already a familiar face to local audiences, Neverland is breaking through the West Coast music scene with her powerful voice, thought-provoking original music, and timely lyrics. This limited-audience show will be taking place in the Selkirk Room and admission is by donation. Doors open at 7 p.m – make sure to get there before seats fill up!

If you haven’t guessed from the name – or the poster – these two Kelowna-based bands will be heading to Revelstoke this weekend to transport audiences into another realm through psychedelic rock. The band members have described their band as, “radiation that permeates the entirety of the known universe”. Now that’s a big pill to swallow. The show will be starting at 10 p.m. – see you there!
Live Country Music with Justin LaBrash at The Rivercity Pub, 10:30 p.m.

Award-winning country recording artist from Saskatchewan, Justin LaBrash, will be kick-starting the long weekend with a dynamic, high energy live show. He will be joined on stage by his band True North, as they entertain audiences with a mix of Justin’s originals, as well as popular covers across many genres.

Saturday, May 18
Revelstoke Timber Days at Centennial Park, 8 a.m. (runs all day).
Tuck into a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the #2345 Rocky Mountain Rangers between 8-11 a.m. then stick around for the timber festivities to kick off in the afternoon. Expect a bake-off competition, raffles and prizes, firewood live auction and, of course, multiple ‘saw off” and ax throwing competitions in the afternoon. See the full schedule at the link below.

Revelstoke Farmers Market in Downtown Revelstoke, 8 a.m.

Downtown’s Mackenzie Ave. will be transforming into a bustling hub for local produce and unique craftwork once more. You’ll have until 1 p.m. Saturday to get yourself downtown and support local before the market wraps up for the day.

‘Locals month’ means cheap bowling and drinks specials throughout the whole month of May! On Saturdays, you can expect half price lane rentals, as well as happy-hour between 5-6 p.m.

Night Market at Revelstoke Trading Post, 4 p.m.
Enjoy a night under fairy lights and warm skies at the Revelstoke Trading Post’s community space, between 4-11 p.m. The series of night markets will feature live music, food from some of Revelstoke’s finest establishments, artisan vendors as well as kids art workshops between 4-6 p.m. The event is fully licensed; enjoy beers and refreshments while you mingle.
