The heavy overnight rain has brought flooding that has closed Highway 23 North just north of its intersection with the Trans-Canada Highway.
A large pool of water has formed on the roadway in front of the Frontier Motel.
At least one car had stalled in the high water.
It’s not known when it will reopen.
For those travelling north on Highway 23, there is an alternate route through the Columbia Park neighbourhood.
