Revelstoke Credit Union Family Fun Run returns
After a two-year hiatus, the Revelstoke Credit Union Fun Run is back.
Revelstoke Credit Union has just announced that their RCU Family Fun Run is returning this spring after a two-year hiatus.
On Sunday May 1, 2022, the road race event returns to Queen Elizabeth Park and will feature 10-kilometre, five-kilometre and two-kilometre races. This free community event is meant to be suitable for people of all ages and welcoming to local and visiting entrants alike.
In years past, this event featured an array of activities in addition to the race. Currently, no extra activities are being planned as a precautionary measure, but could be added closer to the race date.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top racers. The 10-kilometre race features a prize of $100 for each winner in six different categories. The five-kilometre race will have eight category prizes of $50 and there will be two $25 prizes for the winners of the two kilometre races for boys and girls under 10 years of age.
Registration for the race is required and can be done by visiting revcu.com beginning April 1, 2022.
