The Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives program funding is a lifeline for many community organizations, who rely on the program to create and maintain a diverse array of projects an programs in Revelstoke.
Representatives from dozens of community organizations gathered on Feb. 3 to present their projects. Now, the committee that reviews the application has presented their recommendations.
In a report to Revelstoke city council, the committee has made the recommendations for funding listed below.
The amount available was $386,056, but with a total ask of $684,348, most didn’t receive their full funding request. Did your community group get funded? Find out below.
The recommendations now go to a Revelstoke city council meeting scheduled for April 17. Traditionally, council has approved the committee recommendations as is.
