The Absolut Invite competition had select bartenders from B.C. and Alberta serving elaborate cocktail creations to a sold-out crowd at Revelation Lodge.
Revelstoke’s snowboard crowd made up a big chunk of the audience. Competitors in the weekend Trapper Snowboards banked slalom event got tickets to the event as part of their entry package.
They were treated to samples of over a dozen elaborately concocted drinks by top mixologists. The drinks displayed tons of creativity such as infused mousses, accents derived hand-torching wood, and much more.

Absolut Canada rep Ryan Powell traveled from Toronto to the competition. He said the resort, which just taken home the Best Ski Resort in Canada prize at the World Ski Awards, was an appealing choice for the company. It’s also a convenient meeting point for the Vancouver- and Calgary-based competitors.
