New Kovach Park playground opened with teddy bear picnic

The new playground features a large tower/slide/climbing feature, a geodesic dome-shaped rope climbing feature, and a rope basket swing.

Dignitaries, kids and lots of stuffed animals came together to officially open the new playground at Kovach Park with a teddy bear picnic on May 24.

The new playground features a large tower/slide/climbing feature, a geodesic dome-shaped rope climbing feature, and a rope basket swing.

The park was built with contributions from several community organizations, including the Revelstoke Rotary Club, the Revelstoke Credit Union, and the City of Revelstoke.

The playground is next to a new washroom building that was completed last fall and opened this spring.
