2015 Revelstoke real estate stats: sales and average prices up, inventory down
First time home buyers drove the Revelstoke real estate market in 2015, which experienced a bigger year in sales numbers over the peak 2007 year. Average sale prices are up and inventory is down significantly.
Just the stats! Revy Quarterly Winter Stat Update
This is the second installment of a quarterly Revelstoke real estate statistics report by Emily Beaumont, Royal LePage Realtor.
Real estate sales finished strong in 2015 with 120 single family home sales, exceeding the 104 reported sales in 2007! First time buyers were the dominant market this year and we’re continuing to see a good number of interested buyers, but what we’re seeing now is a severe lack of inventory. With interest rates still low and the exchange rate very favorable for our international purchasers we’re calling on all homeowners who are thinking of selling — now is the time, give us a call!
