The Norco Canadian Enduro Series (NCES) takes over Revelstoke as this weekend’s venue in the competitive enduro mountain bike race. NCES is a staple event for elite mountain bikers across B.C. and North America. Before the pandemic, the series spanned across Canada with events in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.

The 2022 series hosts expert mountain bike riders through stages that showcase technically and physically demanding terrain. This year, the event is staying west on an “Island to the Rockies” tour, highlighting the best terrain in each race’s exciting venue.

The race in Revelstoke is seven stages of enduro racing spanning over two days, June 25 and 26, 2022, and is the third race of the series. NCES partners with local trail clubs at their venues and will donate part of the proceeds to the Revelstoke Cycling Association (RCA). The race also requires riders to purchase memberships to the RCA to support the work and maintenance put into the trails.

When we had the opportunity to come back to Revelstoke, there was no way we could turn it down,” says Canadian Enduro in a post. “Riders will face just over 60km and 2,700m of climbing this weekend, a significant step up from the first two rounds. But what waits in store for the riders are seven incredible stages!”
