There have been 16 new COVID-19 cases recorded in the Revelstoke local health area during the latest weekly reporting cycle for January 2–9.
The B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) released the new numbers on January 15, two days later than expected. The BCCDC had planned to release them on Wednesdays. We inquired about the reason for the delay but haven’t received a response.
Public health authorities don’t release the number of active cases per community, so it is unknown how many active cases there are in Revelstoke.
