RCMP say a vehicle pursuit on the Trans-Canada Highway on Mar. 24 started west of Revelstoke, passed through town, and continued eastbound. Police say they stopped the pursuit and the vehicle they were chasing later collided with other vehicles that were stopped on the highway due to an avalanche control closure.
