Join Shuswap based writer, Deanna Barnhardt Kawasaki and friends, for talk and exhibit starting with her first book Wilderness Mother based her off-grid family life in northeast BC. She will discuss her subsequent authorship of multiple books, including her just published “Searching for Sophie” about the life of her great-grandmother from Norway who was an early settler in the North Shuswap.
