Columbia Basin Trust is offering a workshop on Successful Project Development for Non-profits in Revelstoke, on Wednesday, November 9th from 6:00 – 9:00pm at the Okanagan College, Revelstoke Campus.
You have identified a real need or opportunity that you would like to address in your community or organization. How do you build a project to do this? A strong plan will support the success of your project. Strong project implementation teams have effective processes for working together and a commitment to engaging partners, funders, clients and the community.
This workshop will support participants in learning:
– Methods to identify and prioritize needs and opportunities in your community or organization
– How to develop a strong project plan, from concept to completion, in alignment with your goals
– Why community engagement is important
– Approaches and key considerations for engaging your community and building support for your project
Instructor Kel Saldern is a community engagement professional with many years of project development experience.
