Revelstoke Railway Museum holiday event

The Revelstoke Railway Museum is pleased to announce the return of “Trackside Holiday Party”, its festive family-friendly event, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10 AM to 4 PM. A perennial favourite event for families, the Holiday Party was last held in 2019 before the pandemic. It’s back!
Don’t miss a visit with Santa from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Be sure to take a moment and get that special holiday photo. Create a special take-home craft, decorate a delicious cookie and climb aboard the Business Car for hot chocolate and a treat. Take in a holiday movie, complete with fresh popcorn.
Kids can work off some of their young energy sleuthing to find the solution to the new holiday-themed scavenger hunt, and the Thomas Tank Engine play tables will be ready for kids to enjoy. The Revelstoke Model Railway Club will be on-site running lots of trains all day.
As a fundraiser for the Museum, there will be a silent auction and door prizes, and we will have a special raffle for some great prizes, including a Brio wooden train set. This is also a great time to stock up for Christmas or buy yourself something special in our Museum Store, which will have special discounts on most items and extra discounts for Museum members.
As always, we offer informative exhibits, including our beautiful new exhibit “Revelstoke is a Railway Town,” which celebrates Revelstoke’s colourful railway history.
