Linocut Workshop | Customized wrapping paper

Join local artist Oriana Rollo and learn how to design, carve, and print your own custom wrapping paper. You don’t need any experience to take this low-pressure workshop, and spaces are open to youth and adults. So join us for an introduction to relief printing!
At the end of this workshop, students will be able to take home their wrapping paper, tags, and stamp. Having the stamp means you will be able to go home and reprint your design as many times as you’d like! You will also learn everything you need to know to go on to create prints, cards, pillows, and more.

What is Lino carving?
A linocut is a type of relief, or block print, and bears a lot of similarities to woodblock printing. Essentially, the artist carves an image into a linoleum (lino) block and what’s left of the block is inked and printed, similar to a stamp.
