Join Revelstoke Snowmobile Club for our 6th annual Family & Youth Safety Day on Saturday February 16, 2020.
There will be activities for the entire family and for all ages. Gift bags with donations from our amazing sponsors for our youth guests will help to start their own safety kits.
Youth 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Daily Trail Passes for Youth riders will be provided free of charge by the Club.
Emphasis will be placed on safe operations of snowmobiles and responsible use of the backcountry, but most importantly let’s have some fun.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 AM Meet at the Welcome Centre in the Boulder Parking lot located at 4177 Westside Rd.
9:30 AM Learn about snowmobile safe operations and maintenance checks from the best; Mr. Herb Shaede.
10:00 AM Ride as a group up to the Boulder Emergency Shelter Cabin.
10:00 AM Avalanche Canada will teach us about proper use of our avalanche safety gear; transceivers, probes and shovels.
Revelstoke Search and Rescue will teach us about being prepared when venturing into the back country, how to initiate a search, and what to do if you are lost.
12:00 PM Lunch provided for registered event attendees by Revelstoke Snowmobile Club.
1:00 PM Snowmobile Ride with your family and friends; or groomer demonstration and tobogganing

Space is limited to 50 riders. To correctly order food for our participants, we need to know your names and how many will be attending (adults and youth). Notify the Club of any dietary restrictions.
