Sadhana/Meditation

Learn to empty the mind to come back to Self. Through easy and accessible practices known as Sadhana or spiritual practice, you’ll be guided in various Pranayama (breathing techniques), Pratyahara (withdrawing the mind from the senses), Dharana (one-pointedness) and Dhyana (deep concentration) exercises. 2019 Revelstoke Polar Plunge for Special Olympics BC @ Williamson Lake Campground
Oct 20 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

As an established Special Olympics fundraiser throughout North America, the Polar Plunge has a history of people laughing and splashing for a cause.

The 2019 Revelstoke Polar Plunge for Special Olympics BC will have families, individuals, businesses, and law enforcement members taking pledges to jump into cold waters on Plunge Day, all to support and raise awareness for Special Olympics BC.

Plungers will be freezin’ for a reason – fundraising to bring quality sport training and competition to individuals with intellectual disabilities, transforming the lives of children and adults through the joy of sport.

Special Olympics athletes around the world follow the oath: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.” Polar Plungers can follow this example by bravely taking a chilly dip!
