Drop-in Glass Blowing Workshops @ Big Eddy Glass Works @ Big Eddy Glass Works

Have you ever wanted to try glassblowing? Well now is your chance!

Every Saturday Drop in only
First come, first served

These one on one workshops begin with your choice of workshop item and a brief safety talk, then you get to make your very own blown or solid sculpted, work of glass art.  Your piece will be available for pick up the next day and can be shipped for an additional charge.

Notes

Please make sure to wear non-flammable (cotton), non-flowy, clothing, close-toed shoes and tie back really long hair. Bring sunglasses, regular glasses are ok. Families welcome, children 7+ are able to participate.

Create Your Own Gin @ Jones Distilling

Experience a truly unique gin experience at a local distillery based in Revelstoke’s Historic Mountain View School.

This event starts with a perfect gin & tonic as we ease you into the world of gin, starting with its dark origins and ending with the creation of your very own gin.

  • Tour and peruse the craft distillery and learn about the distilling process
  • Trace gin’s dark origins and its journey to being the top tipple it is today
  • Taste samples of premium spirits made locally in Revelstoke
  • Learn about the art of botanics, explore their flavours and how they marry to create gin
  • Enjoy a few premium G&T’s along the way and leave a titan of taste and a purveyor of the perfect gin & tonic
  • Create your own bottle of gin to take home with you
