Drop In Curling @ Revelstoke Forum

A great oportunity to try out another exceptional winter sport in a non competitive environment. Start time is 7 PM, fee at $5, with the club supplying instruction, grippers, brushes and sliders. We ask that you bring along clean running shoes to wear on the ice and recommend wearing loose fitting jeans.
For your enjoyment we have our upstairs lounge open.

Locals’ Day @ Revelstoke Mountain Resort
Mar 31 all-day

With a cash or food donation, we’ll give guests a $10 lift ticket, $10 rental package and $10 lesson.

At R-Gear and Critical Parts, locals receive an additional 5% off our Spring Sale that’s already discounted up to 40%. They will also receive 20% off all regular priced items.

All food donations go to the Revelstoke Food bank and all cash donations for to the Revelstoke Community Foundation.

Guest must show proof of residence to receive any discount or special.

A rail jam competition for the kids!

A specifically designed event in the Gnome Zone allowing the max potential for fun and progression. Loads of prizing and a free BBQ for kids and parents. Ages 5-12, with divisions for ski and snowboard and boys and girls.

Closing Weekend Spring Melter @ Revelstoke Mountain Resort

We’ve extended our season and pumped up the party! Join us in sending off the season with a bang on April 20 & 21.

The perfect way to celebrate and send off our amazing 2018.19 winter season. Catch some beats, grab a gourmet burger and an ice cold brew up at the Mackenzie Outpost with DJ’s spinning from 11am-2pm, then ski down to a rockin’ party in the Rockford Plaza with live music from local BC bands.

6th Annual Bike & Gear Swap @ Revelstoke Forum
Apr 27 @ 10:00 am – 1:30 pm

With hundreds of Revelstoke residents coming through, the Bike Swap & Expo is a great way to get your hands on a (gently used) new bike, or sell your old bike without the hassle. We do all the work for you!

Do you have a bike that’s in rough shape but still has some life left? Let us pick it up, work on it, and sell it at the swap! Knee pads not fitting right anymore? Pedals and gears collecting dust in the basement? Sell them at the swap!

There will be retailers and bike experts on site to answer your questions and will have product for sale.

$3 to register your gear for sale, with 15% of the sale price (up to $50) going to the NCES.

$3 entry or $5 per family, kids under 5 are free.

Saturday, April 27th
Product registration starts at 10am, doors open to the public 12pm.
Pick up unsold gear or cash at 1:30pm.
Unsold bikes or gear that are not picked up by 1:30pm will be transported to a secure location. Bikes/gear not picked up 1 week after event date will be sold, with all profits going to the NCES.

Revelstoke Timber Days @ Centennial Park
May 18 all-day

Save the date, the Timber Days organizing crew has gotten busy getting the details worked out for this years event. 

There will be pie gobble, professional CANLOG events as well as events for locals. There will be a huge raffle table, 50/50’s, food vendors and kids events to keep the whole family busy.

Revelstoke Paddlesport Challenge @ Revelstoke Aquatic Centre

The Revelstoke Paddlesport Challenge offers the LONGEST paddlesport race in British Columbia! It takes place on scenic Lake Revelstoke and is surrounded by iconic mountain and glacier views. This unique race allows paddlers of all types to ‘choose their own adventure’ while following David Thompson’s route on the Columbia River (now resevoir). The level of CHALLENGE is up to YOU! There are several options to choose from that offer varying degrees of difficulty / length. The options are:

1. The ‘ David Thompson Classic ‘ : 125 kms over 3 days stages, including 6 portages in total. This challenge
option is the LONGEST paddlesport race in BC!

2. The ‘No Portaging’ Options – Same route, but WITHOUT the portages AND within this option, paddlers
can choose what distance they will challenge themselves to.

3 days (125kms)- Friday, July 19th, Sat. July 20 & Sunday, July 21st, 2019
2 days (83 kms)- Saturday, July 20 & Sunday, July 21, 2019
1 day (37 kms)- Sunday July 21, 2019.

Lake2Lake Ride for Rwanda @ Vernon Christian School

You may not have heard of the Lake2Lake Ride for Rwanda, but this ride was created with you in mind! This September 14-15, enjoy a rich community experience as we ride 200km over two days, soak in the beauty of the Okanagan & Shuswap, share incredible meals together, and laugh around the campfire. Connect with a great cause as you support the work of Wellspring in equipping Rwandan teachers with the tools to transform their classrooms, schools, communities, and country!
