Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Revelstoke area, forecasting 15-20 centimetres for the West Columbia, including Revelstoke.

The snow is forecast to start on the morning of Tuesday, Mar. 10 and continue through Tuesday night.

On the highways, Environment Canada is forecasting 20-25 centimetres for Eagle Pass and Rogers Pass.

Environment Canada is warning travellers about adverse highway conditions during the snow event.

“Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations,” they write. “If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”

Revelstoke has enjoyed two days of sunny weather.
